In summer, the street in Campo Tures becomes a bonanza of pots, pans, and good cheer. Every Tuesday, the town is transformed into a large open-air restaurant. The surrounding restaurants sizzle, grill, bake, and serve South Tyrolean and international cuisine. You stroll from stall to stall, sampling homemade Schlutzkrapfen (scramblers), spicy curries, juicy burgers, and sweet temptations. All accompanied by music, a babble of voices, and a glass of wine in hand. An evening that tastes like summer.
